About the role
This cadet position offers hands‑on learning while you study for an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering. You will support engineering design and documentation across a variety of infrastructure projects in the Mackay region.
Key responsibilities
- Assist drafters and designers in creating engineered sketches and drawings using Autodesk and Bentley software.
- Perform quantity calculations to support cost estimating.
- Conduct field site visits to gather data for design deliverables.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project outcomes.
Required profile
- Enrolment eligibility for the Associate Degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Southern Queensland.
- Ability to work full‑time while studying part‑time.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Autodesk design packages.
- Proficiency with Bentley design packages.
