Business Development Manager - NSW

About the role

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) partners with schools and communities to deliver high-quality Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) programs. It is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to grow its NSW/ACT portfolio by securing new school partnerships and expanding its services. Based in the Homebush office, the role involves working with schools and key stakeholders across NSW and ACT, with travel required throughout the state and the option to work from home.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research and secure new OSHC opportunities across NSW
• Build relationships with school principals, business managers, school boards, councils and P&C committees
• Develop sales strategies and 90-day plans to build the pipeline and hit sales targets
• Prepare tailored tenders and proposals, and negotiate commercial agreements
• Assess commercial viability through financial models and profitability checks
• Promote JAG at industry events and conferences to generate leads
• Manage the sales pipeline in CRM systems and report on performance and market trends
• Work with Service Delivery to ensure a smooth handover of new services

Required profile

• Experience in business development or sales with a proven track record of winning new business
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and experience writing commercially sound proposals
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to present to senior stakeholders
• Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and travel throughout NSW and ACT, including occasional overnight stays
• Experience in a school community or the education sector is highly regarded; a qualification in Business, Marketing or Sales is desirable
