Berry Finance Manager

About the role

The Berry Finance Manager is a core member of Driscoll's Enterprise Finance team, responsible for driving operational and strategic decisions that enhance profitability across the berry business. This role combines deep financial analysis with business acumen to evaluate market, supply, and product strategies from field to fork.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and interpret internal and industry challenges, recommending best practices to improve enterprise profitability.
• Lead research on technology innovations and planning methodologies.
• Manage cross‑functional projects, coordinating with Product Leadership, Supply Solutions, Growing, Nurseries, Supply Chain, Finance, and Market groups.
• Interpret fruit margin results, generate insights, and communicate implications of variances to plan and prior years.
• Quantify impacts on growers and Driscoll's, providing formal recommendations.
• Evaluate berry business performance end‑to‑end, covering supply, market strategies, grower economics, and overall financial results.
• Identify profit‑gain opportunities and support new business applications with pro‑forma impact analysis.
• Assist in integrated planning models to project supply, price, and enterprise profit.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of finance or analytical experience.
• Strong business acumen and ability to lead complex projects.
• Proven capability to work and negotiate across multiple functions.
• Experience in financial analysis, margin evaluation, and profitability modeling.
