Behavioural Support Practitioner (NDIS)

About the role

An established, growing multidisciplinary allied health practice in Camden, South West Sydney, is looking for a Behavioural Support Practitioner. The role delivers evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support to a varied caseload of NDIS participants with complex support needs, working closely with families, carers, schools and other professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs)
• Develop and review interim and comprehensive behaviour support plans
• Deliver person-centred, trauma-informed interventions
• Coach and train families, carers and support workers
• Reduce and eliminate restrictive practices
• Ensure compliance with NDIS Commission requirements
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports

Required profile

• NDIS Commission assessment at Proficient, Advanced or Specialist level
• Demonstrated experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support to NDIS participants
• Strong FBA and behaviour support plan experience
• Confidence managing complex presentations and behaviours of concern
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (highly regarded)
• Current driver's licence, WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Check
