Banking Consultant – Retail Banking (Part‑time, Modbury)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience to customers in the Modbury branch. You will address end‑to‑end financial needs, guide conversations based on customers’ goals, and promote digital and traditional solutions while ensuring compliance and risk awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality customer service, handling transactions and product enquiries in line with your accreditation level.
• Engage customers to understand their financial objectives and recommend appropriate ANZ solutions.
• Support branch initiatives and bank programmes that drive customer advocacy.
• Maintain accurate knowledge of compliance, risk, and branch policies.
• Contribute to increased customer engagement and satisfaction metrics.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Retail or customer‑facing experience is an advantage.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Sound understanding of compliance and risk considerations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using digital banking channels and technology platforms.
