Assistant Manager / Relief Night Manager

About the role

Join the Front Office team at Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide as an Assistant Manager/Relief Night Manager. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will take full responsibility for hotel operations during day and overnight shifts, representing senior leadership in the General Manager’s absence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee hotel operations during days and overnight, managing late arrivals, early departures and guest inquiries.
• Conduct nightly audits, prepare operational reports and ensure safety, security and emergency procedures are followed.
• Lead the night team to maintain premium service standards, resolve guest issues promptly and monitor cleanliness of public areas.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure continuity across shifts and act as a Loyalty Ambassador promoting Accor Live Limitless membership.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years’ experience in a front office leadership or supervisory role within a hotel environment.
• Strong communication skills, diplomatic temperament and ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Full, unrestricted Australian working rights and availability for a 24/7 rotating roster.
• Required certifications: RP Badge, SA RSA, First Aid & CPR, National Police Check and clearance to work with vulnerable people.

Required skills

• High level of computer literacy, including Excel.
• Experience with Opera Cloud hotel management system.
