About the role
We are seeking an Assistant Manager to help keep the Henley Beach Hotel buzzing and loved by locals. The role supports the Publican, leads a team, and ensures smooth operation of our ocean‑view Sports Bar and Bistro.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Publican in daily operations, maintaining a great vibe and safety standards.
- Lead and develop a team of hospitality staff, handling issues before they become problems.
- Manage stock, kegs and deliveries, including manual handling and lifting.
Required profile
- Experience working in a bar, bistro or gaming venue, with some supervisory duties.
- Current RSA, RSG and RP badge as required by state regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
Required skills
- Hospitality service skills.
- Team leadership.
