Assistant Educator – Junior Kindy (Hamilton)

About the role

Eden Academy is seeking a caring Assistant Educator to support the Junior Kindy room in its Hamilton centre. You will join a team that values love, support, and professional growth, helping young learners thrive in a safe, natural‑play environment.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate playful learning experiences that nurture curiosity and development.
• Create engaging, age‑appropriate environments filled with natural light and resources.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Support the lead educator in daily classroom routines and documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming space for all children.

Required profile

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA‑recognised equivalent).
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Warm, professional presence with a genuine passion for early learning.
• Two professional references, one from a childcare or education supervisor.

Required skills

• First Aid, Anaphylaxis, CPR, and Asthma certification (funded by employer).
