About the role

Beeliar Primary School is creating a pool of qualified teachers for Kindergarten to Year 6. Positions may be permanent or fixed‑term, full‑time or part‑time, and will be filled as vacancies arise during the 2027 school year. Successful candidates will join a collaborative, high‑expectation environment that values whole‑school connected practices and explicit direct instruction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons for K‑6 classes.
• Implement the school’s explicit direct instruction model and whole‑school connected practices.
• Embed culturally responsive and inclusive teaching strategies.
• Assess student progress, differentiate learning, and provide targeted feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and community partners to support student outcomes.
• Contribute to the school’s Business Plan goals, including distributed leadership and quality teaching practices.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with experience in primary education (Kindergarten to Year 6).
• Ability to adopt whole‑school practices and explicit instructional pedagogy.
• Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong collaborative mindset and high expectations for student achievement.
