Accountant – Balcatta, WA

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to join our Balcatta office and support the Group Accountant in delivering accurate, timely and compliant financial operations. You will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity across reporting, reconciliations and transactional accounting while contributing to continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily banking, reconciliations and creditor payments.
• Process accounts payable, including invoices, purchase orders and approvals.
• Complete reconciliations for creditors, credit cards and month‑end.
• Support BAS, FBT, balance‑sheet and month‑end reporting.
• Assist with payroll and broader finance support as needed.
• Handle ad‑hoc reporting and general finance administration.
• Coordinate travel and fleet administration.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Accountant or Finance Officer in a commercial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective time‑management and ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Professional, discreet and customer‑focused approach.
• Proactive, reliable and willing to support the wider team.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Competence in Microsoft Word.
• Experience using finance systems such as MYOB or FileMaker (or similar).
