Account Manager – Sales Team

About the role

Clarivate is seeking an Account Manager to join its Sales team in Australia. You will work with industry‑recognized services such as Ex Libris library software, Research & Analytics products, and other enterprise solutions, using a consultative, customer‑centric approach.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets by identifying upsell opportunities and managing the full sales cycle from need identification to closing.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans across the Clarivate portfolio, including Ex Libris, Research & Analytics, Content, and Academic Workflow solutions.
• Build relationships with diverse buying centers such as university librarians, CIOs, research office leaders, and government stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product Sales Managers, Solution Consultants, Customer Success, and product teams to create winning account strategies.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, reporting, and meeting volumes as defined by sales management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in sales.
• 5+ years of account management, business development, or sales experience, preferably selling enterprise solutions to higher education, libraries, research organisations, or government.
• Experience managing complex customer relationships and delivering multi‑product solutions.
