Store Manager – Lead a High‑Performing Team

About the role

ALDI is seeking a Store Manager for its Lilydale location to lead a close‑knit team and deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You will be fully responsible for day‑to‑day store operations, driving sales, and ensuring compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee store performance across financial, customer, people, and compliance metrics.
• Train, develop, and conduct performance reviews for team members.
• Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and visual merchandising.
• Manage inventory, minimise losses and handle stock replenishment.
• Participate in register duties, shelf‑filling and special‑buy merchandising when needed.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement ideas.
• Conduct interviews and assist the Area Manager in hiring new staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading teams in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision‑making abilities.
• Goal‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and work under pressure.
