Field Sales Engineer – Process Heat Exchangers

About the role

Join Alfa Laval as a Field Sales Engineer focused on process heat exchangers, supporting customers across the Kwinana Beach region. You will drive sales growth by analysing market insights, building strong relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market insights and customer buying behaviour to create sales plans aligned with business targets.
• Identify, qualify and manage leads, converting them into solid business opportunities to maintain a healthy pipeline.
• Engage customers through visits and meetings, understand their requirements and communicate the value of Alfa Laval’s products.
• Develop customised proposals, negotiate commercial terms and obtain final approval from the Sales Manager.
• Deliver product demonstrations that showcase features, functionality and value, adapting messaging to technical understanding.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management using CRM and digital tools.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of technical sales experience, preferably in industrial process equipment.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and business development abilities.
• Knowledge of separation technologies is an advantage.

Required skills

• Mechanical engineering expertise.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and digital sales tools.
• Ability to conduct effective product demonstrations.
