State Head of Transaction Banking (WA/SA) – Perth or Adelaide

About the role

The State Head of Transaction Banking for Western Australia and South Australia will lead the delivery of high‑quality Transaction Banking services to Business & Private Bank customers, driving market‑share growth and revenue within the segment’s risk appetite. You will work closely with the Head of Transaction Banking, Tribe Leads and Institutional Banking colleagues to shape a compelling customer proposition.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the state‑level vision and strategy for B&PB Transaction Banking, targeting new business opportunities and sustainable results.
• Manage product sales specialists and collaborate with front‑line B&PB teams to increase market share and support trading businesses.
• Own the financial performance of Transaction Banking in the state, including revenue, cost management and portfolio health.
• Partner with Retail and Institutional product teams to ensure consistent propositions and drive pipeline opportunities.

Required profile

• Strategic thinker with deep banking experience and thorough knowledge of Transaction Banking products, customer needs and credit/operational risk.
• Proven senior leadership experience, capable of influencing teams, coaching staff and delivering results.
• Strong executive stakeholder management and ability to navigate change, ambiguity and complex enterprise relationships.
