S&S Banking Consultant – Retail Banking

About the role

The S&S Banking Consultant works within Suncorp Bank to assess customers' financial needs and recommend suitable banking solutions. The role focuses on achieving sales, service and compliance targets while delivering high‑quality transactional banking services.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales, service and compliance targets set for the store.
• Generate sales opportunities for specialist products and recommend initiatives to improve store performance.
• Assess customer needs through open communication and recommend appropriate banking options.
• Process over‑the‑counter transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers) accurately and efficiently.
• Promote electronic banking channels such as ATMs, phone banking and internet banking.
• Identify and escalate risks or issues, adhering to the bank’s complaint resolution process.
• Maintain high data quality standards in the bank’s systems and documentation.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in business, commerce or finance (desirable).
• Proven experience in a retail customer sales and service environment.
• Strong analytical ability to develop solutions and recommend actions.
