Senior Management Accountant – FMCG

About the role

This is a high‑impact commercial finance position embedded within a large, fast‑paced FMCG manufacturing environment. You will partner closely with senior site leadership to drive cost performance, operational efficiency and financial outcomes, providing real‑time insight and influencing decision‑making across production and cost drivers.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with site leadership to deliver weekly and monthly performance reporting, including variance analysis of cost, yield and production metrics.
• Analyse standard versus actual costs, identify key drivers and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide proactive insights on operational performance, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and ongoing performance tracking at the site level.
• Monitor inventory, cost movements and operational KPIs, and assist with capital‑expenditure tracking and asset capitalisation.
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting processes and financial visibility.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years of experience in management accounting, commercial finance or operations finance, preferably within manufacturing, FMCG or supply‑chain environments.
• Commercially minded professional who enjoys working in high‑volume, fast‑paced settings and engaging senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with operational teams and influence business outcomes.
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification is preferred.
