About the role
The Senior Financial Accountant reports to the Financial Controller – ANZ and works with the Finance leadership team to produce monthly financial reports, manage end‑of‑month accounting, and enhance finance processes.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare statutory compliant monthly and annual financial reports and accounting records.
- Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes, collaborate with offshore teams, and automate workflows.
- Support budgeting and reporting activities and resolve accounting exceptions.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 + years of relevant experience.
- Formal accounting qualification (Tertiary degree) and CA/CPA completion.
- Experience with taxation areas such as FBT, Income Tax, GST and Payroll Tax.
Required skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with SAP Business One or similar accounting package (desirable).
