Senior Finance Lead – Oceania

About the role
Great opportunity to join one of the world's fastest‑growing sports brands as the Senior Finance Lead for our Oceania Market! In this role you will act as the ultimate finance business partner to commercial and operations teams, providing finance and controlling support to drive premium, omnichannel growth. You will manage everything from budgeting and planning to strategic business case simulations and commercial negotiations.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with sub‑regional commercial, retail, e‑commerce and operations leaders to deliver proactive financial insights.
- Lead end‑to‑end financial forecasting, budgeting and planning for Oceania and emerging APAC markets.
- Produce monthly management reporting packages covering topline performance, channel margins and cost variances.
- Perform financial modelling, margin simulations and pro‑forma P&L analyses for new store, e‑commerce and market expansion projects.
- Support the regional CFO on AI, automation and other strategic projects.
- Monitor and control SG&A, retail capex and marketing ROI in alignment with regional controlling.
- Educate local business teams to raise financial acumen and enable data‑driven decisions.
- Ensure compliance, internal controls and SOX readiness in collaboration with accounting, tax, legal and IT teams.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration; MBA or CPA/CMA highly desirable.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, commercial finance or business partnering within a multinational environment.
- Background in sportswear, retail, fashion or FMCG is a strong advantage.
- Deep understanding of omnichannel sales models including wholesale, D2C retail and e‑commerce.
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience in AI‑driven automation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and an entrepreneurial mindset.
