Senior Engineering Professional

About the role

Hire Resolve is partnering with organisations across Australia to recruit experienced senior‑level engineering professionals. This hybrid role offers the chance to lead and contribute to multi‑disciplinary projects in sectors such as infrastructure, resources, energy, construction, manufacturing and utilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to engineering projects from concept, design and development through to execution and commissioning.
• Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex technical and operational challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including project managers, site teams, contractors, consultants and clients.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, statutory regulations and WHS requirements.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, calculations and technical documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, reliability and cost performance.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial or related).
• 7–15+ years of relevant engineering experience in infrastructure, mining, energy, construction, manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong technical expertise within your engineering discipline and familiarity with Australian Standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or RPEQ registration is advantageous.
