Quality Assurance Engineer for Hybrid Power Plant Project

About the role

Join Aggreko as a Quality Assurance Engineer supporting a major hybrid power plant project in Central Queensland. This site‑based position works a 2/1 roster with travel arranged from Brisbane and focuses on construction quality, completions, and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the project Quality Management Plan, ITPs, check sheets, quality registers and test records.
• Review subcontractor ITPs, quality plans, MDRs, inspection records, test packs and handover documentation for compliance.
• Coordinate and witness inspections, hold points and witness points across mechanical, electrical, civil, structural and equipment installation.
• Raise, track and close out quality issues, NCRs, punch list items and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate QA records, including inspection status, test records, MDR status and system handover readiness.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent technical qualification, preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in site‑based QA, construction engineering, field engineering or commissioning support.
• Familiarity with construction ITPs, MDRs, QA packs, inspection records, NCRs and punch lists.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
• Willingness to work FIFO from Brisbane to a Central Queensland site.
