Technical Sales Specialist - AEC (ANZ)

About the role

The Enterprise Technical Sales Specialist acts as a trusted technical advisor, validating, architecting, and demonstrating complex Autodesk solutions for enterprise customers in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AECO) sector across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Enterprise Account Executives, Account Technical Leads and Customer Success teams to align Autodesk solutions with customer business outcomes.
• Lead high‑impact technical demonstrations, pilots and proof‑of‑concepts, addressing complex technical objections and ensuring solution feasibility.
• Architect end‑to‑end technical solutions that integrate multiple Autodesk products and platform services.
• Create reusable demo assets, documentation and enablement content to scale best practices.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in technical pre‑sales, solutions architecture or technical consulting for enterprise‑level customers.
• Proven ability to deliver executive‑level technical storytelling and influence both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and collaboration skills across sales, technical and customer success teams.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of AECO industry workflows and Autodesk’s AI & Data Management and Platform Services.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms, cloud‑based solutions and complex system integrations.
• Familiarity with ROI modeling, value engineering and business case development.
