Civil Drafter

About the role

Egis Group is seeking an experienced Civil Drafter to join its Urban Transport team on the Gold Coast. You will contribute to the design and documentation of road, pavement, cycleway and DDA‑compliant infrastructure across a range of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Produce drafting deliverables from concept design through to construction certification for simple to complex civil infrastructure.
• Create detailed civil drawings for greenfield and brownfield developments, including commercial, industrial and medium‑density projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams, receiving technical guidance to resolve design challenges.

Required profile

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Construction Design, Engineering Drafting or a related field.
• Technical exposure to urban transport or civil engineering, with knowledge of Australian Standards and local council planning schemes.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal abilities to support internal engagements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in 12d.
