Project Manager – Infrastructure (North Queensland relocation)

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Infrastructure to lead civil infrastructure projects across North Queensland. You will own projects from planning through to close‑out, working with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality.
• Manage project risks, issues, opportunities and dependencies proactively.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, cash flow and commercial performance.
• Administer contracts, change management, claims and dispute resolution.
• Maintain strong project governance, reporting and controls.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline recognised by Engineers Australia.
• Proven experience delivering roads, bridges or transport infrastructure projects, preferably with Transport for Main Roads.
• Experience across project development, construction delivery and contract administration.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to make timely decisions.
• RPEQ registration or ability to obtain it is highly regarded.

Required skills

• Civil construction methodologies and road/bridge design.
• Project budgeting, scheduling and risk management.
• Contract administration using AS 2124, AS 4300, D&C or Alliance models.
• Project governance, quality, health & safety and sustainability practices.
