Senior Civil Designer

About the role

Join AECOM as a Senior Civil Designer to deliver highways and transport infrastructure designs in Queensland, using industry‑standard software and adhering to TMR and Austroads guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality CAD drawings and 3D models for roads, cycleways, footpaths, signage, utilities and safety barriers.
• Support BIM and digital engineering workflows, including model federation and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Ensure compliance with client and project requirements across multiple design packages.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 8‑10 years of experience in highways and transport infrastructure design within Queensland, including TMR projects.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Expertise in 12d civil design and modelling.
• Experience with BIM, digital engineering workflows, model federation and multidisciplinary coordination.
