Senior Banking Consultant – Retail Banking

About the role

ANZ is seeking a Senior Banking Consultant to join its Retail Banking team in Forest Hill. In this role you will deliver a seamless banking experience, addressing customers' end‑to‑end financial needs and guiding them toward appropriate digital and traditional solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as an initiator and role model for ANZ products, promoting the range of home loan, insurance, investment and transactional services.
• Support the Branch Manager in executing ANZ’s retail strategy and day‑to‑day branch operations.
• Conduct in‑depth, needs‑based conversations to match customers with suitable financial solutions.
• Maintain a strong “know your customer” approach from a risk and compliance perspective.
• Deliver a positive, relationship‑focused customer experience that turns clients into advocates for ANZ.
• Participate in rostered Saturday shifts to meet branch operating hours and customer demand.

Required profile

• Demonstrated customer‑focused mindset with a passion for delivering on ANZ’s Customer Promises.
• Ability to act as a peer coach and role model within the branch team.
• Strong communication skills for needs‑based conversations and product education.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional Saturday shifts.
• Commitment to upholding risk and compliance standards.
