Occupational Therapist Graduate Program

About the role

Join Early Start Australia as an Occupational Therapy graduate in our Toowoomba clinic, supporting children with developmental milestones and behavioural goals. You will work in‑clinic and in‑community, delivering therapy in homes, schools and via telehealth.

Key responsibilities

• Assist children to achieve fine motor, hand‑eye coordination and daily living skills such as dressing, feeding and personal hygiene.
• Educate and involve parents, carers and teachers to reinforce therapeutic strategies.
• Support children with behavioural challenges by promoting positive coping techniques.

Required profile

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and eligibility for AHPRA registration.
• Graduated within the last 12 months or graduating early 2026.
• Valid driver’s licence with own vehicle and third‑party insurance.
• Willingness to obtain Working with Children Check, Police Check, NDIS Workers Screening, First Aid and CPR certification.

• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
