National Business Manager – Grocery Channel

About the role

3M is seeking a National Business Manager to lead its Grocery channel across Australia. You will be responsible for driving sales, margin and price performance for leading consumer brands such as Command, Scotch, Post‑it and Scotch‑Brite within the Woolworths and Coles networks.

Key responsibilities

• Execute customer plans in line with area strategy and financial targets, ensuring sales forecast accuracy and delivery of net sales and gross profit commitments.
• Develop and implement annual and quarterly customer strategies and joint business plans for key accounts.
• Lead channel and distribution initiatives, including ranging, market coverage, plan‑ogram reviews, seasonal promotions and e‑commerce programs.
• Manage portfolio strategy, new product introductions, pricing, rebates and commercial terms.
• Monitor and optimise customer incentive plans, MDF claims and performance metrics through monthly business reviews.
• Analyse internal and external data to identify growth opportunities and improve channel initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, product development and field teams to align execution and drive incremental growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing key accounts in the Australian grocery channel, particularly with Woolworths and Coles.
• Track record of achieving sales, margin and price targets in a consumer‑goods environment.
• Ability to develop and execute joint business plans and channel growth strategies.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration capabilities.
