Fine Wine Client Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Fine Wine Client Manager to lead the growth of our fine‑wine portfolio across Australia. Based in Sydney or Melbourne, you will serve high‑net‑worth private clients and premium on‑ and off‑premise accounts, acting as the face of our Californian and Oregon wine brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand a high‑value fine‑wine business by driving sales to existing and new premium venues.
• Recruit, onboard and manage high‑net‑worth clients, building long‑term relationships.
• Maintain and grow industry partnerships with organisations such as Sommeliers Australia, the California Wine Institute and 67 Pall Mall.
• Own and continuously improve the CRM platform to support lead conversion and data‑driven selling.
• Plan, host and promote private tastings, collector events and trade‑facing experiences.

Required profile

• 5+ years of proven success in fine‑wine sales or luxury client‑facing roles.
• Strong knowledge of the California wine region and industry.
• Demonstrated CRM discipline and a data‑driven approach to sales.
• Established relationships with leading sommeliers and premium venues.
• Commercial mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• WSET Level 3 (or higher) qualification and a genuine passion for fine wine.

• Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
• Data analysis for sales performance.
