About the role

Join Sedgman's Perth engineering team to deliver smart, efficient design solutions for major minerals and resources projects. You will work on complex problem‑solving and hands‑on design within a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality engineering design outputs in line with standards, quality requirements and change management processes.
• Prepare design packages, including drawings, models and calculations, while identifying and managing design risks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Sedgman to support project delivery and continuous improvement.
• Engage with stakeholders through technical support, project meetings, query responses and commissioning activities.
• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance design processes, tools and project outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of engineering consultancy experience on mineral projects.
• Proficiency with technical design software and MS Office.
• Clear communication, proactive and solutions‑focused attitude.
• Technical understanding of piping design and layout.
