Manager – Outsourced CFO

About the role

Join Grant Thornton’s growing Outsourced CFO Services team as a Manager within the Private Enterprise practice. You will partner with dynamic mid‑market clients to elevate their finance capability, deliver commercial insights, and drive business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client finance strategy and deliver CFO‑level advice.
• Shape finance functions and design scalable operating models.
• Present insights to boards, owners and C‑suite executives.
• Build commercial dashboards and drive data‑led decisions.
• Guide finance system design and transformation initiatives.
• Strengthen client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Support business development and expand the service offering.

Required profile

• Previous experience in professional services (Business Services, Audit, or Consulting).
• Commercial finance or Finance Business Partner experience in a commercial setting.
• Confidence presenting to boards, CFOs and business owners.
• Strong technology capability and influence across stakeholders.
• Leadership and oversight of finance professionals.
• Degree in accounting/finance; CA or CPA qualified.
