Housekeeper - Aged Care Home

About the role

Estia Health is recruiting a housekeeper for its Kensington Gardens aged care home. This is a dual role combining kitchen and cleaning duties, with a focus on keeping the home clean, hygienic and safe for residents. Key responsibilities

• Prepare food and drink.
• Clean, including washing dishes.
• Help change the menu by working with the team and residents to create meals suited to each person.
• Maintain records as part of the Food Safety Program.
• Keep the home clean, hygienic and safe.

Required profile

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to Work, Health and Safety principles.
• Positive, warm, empathetic and able to stay on your feet all day.
• Great organisation skills.
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course.
• Able to audit and inspect the home to maintain hygiene standards.
