About the role
Sentinel Property Group is a property investment fund with over $2 billion in assets under management across Australia, holding assets such as shopping centres, large-format retail, office and industrial properties. Its Brisbane headquarters is hiring a Head of Clients & Capital to lead capital raising, investor relations and client engagement, working closely with the executive leadership team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead capital raising and build relationships with wholesale investors, including advisers, family offices, high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors
- Develop and strengthen relationships with investors and identify new capital opportunities
- Oversee investor communications so that clear, timely and insightful information reaches the market
- Drive investor engagement through communications, presentations, fund reporting and marketing collateral
- Represent the business at investor meetings, roadshows and industry events
- Lead and mentor a high-performing Investor Relations, Research and Sales team
- Partner with senior leadership and business units to identify investment opportunities and align capital strategies
Required profile
- Proven experience in investor relations, capital raising, funds management or real estate investment, with a track record of raising capital from wholesale investors and leading teams
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Real Estate or a related discipline
- Experience partnering with senior executives and mentoring teams
Required skills
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with knowledge of property funds, asset management, investor engagement and capital markets
- Success in developing investor strategies, launching investment products and building long-term investor relationships
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
