Accounts Receivable Officer

About the role

Adelaide University is hiring a full-time continuing Accounts Receivable Officer based in its Corporate Portfolio on North Terrace, Adelaide CBD. The role sits in the Finance Operations team of the Finance Function and provides professional service delivery, processing and administering accounts receivable services for the University. It covers research, sundry and student debtors, with consistent payment receipting and compliant receivables processing in line with university policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Process and administer accounts receivable services for the University
• Support accurate and timely invoicing, receipting and management of revenue collection across research, sundry and student debtors
• Maintain compliant receivables processing and adhere to university policies and procedures
• Interact with stakeholders across the University in a collaborative team setting

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with active listening and questioning to identify stakeholder needs
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-based operational environment
• Experience in debt management
• Commitment to organisational values and compliance with behaviour expectations
