About the role

Oaks Nelson Bay Lure Suites is looking for a proactive and reliable Handyperson to join its team on a full-time basis. The role keeps the property well presented, safe and welcoming for guests and staff, covering repairs and maintenance across guest rooms, public areas and facilities, from scheduled checks to unexpected issues.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs and maintenance across guest rooms, public areas and facilities
• Oversee and support external contractors when required
• Implement and maintain the property's preventative maintenance program
• Keep accurate records of daily tasks, maintenance requests and service schedules

Required profile

• Previous hands-on experience in building or property maintenance (12 months preferred, not essential)
• Previous painting experience preferred
• Working rights within Australia or New Zealand only
