Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

Minor Hotels is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor for Oaks Nelson Bay Lure Suites on a casual basis. You will lead the housekeeping team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces meet high cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Supervise and support the housekeeping team, fostering a productive and professional workplace culture.
• Oversee on‑the‑job training to maintain consistent procedures and quality.
• Maintain accurate housekeeping records, including daily logs, inventory reports and maintenance requests.
• Collaborate with other departments and contractors to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience supervising or managing housekeeping operations.
• Experience controlling budgets, supplies, replacements and consumables.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, time‑management and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to uphold high cleanliness standards.
