Graduate Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

Stowe Australia is looking for a highly motivated Graduate Accountant to join its Finance Team at the Rydalmere head office. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will gain exposure to a broad range of finance functions, including financial and management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance and the year‑end audit process.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly management reports, including journal entries, variance analysis and report distribution.
• Support the preparation of subsidiary company accounts and annual budgets.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register and motor‑vehicle fleet administration.
• Perform general ledger maintenance, coding transactions and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Help maintain cash‑flow forecasts and contribute to ad‑hoc finance projects.
• Prepare year‑end audit work papers and liaise with external auditors.
• Assist with FBT returns and other indirect‑tax compliance activities.
• Collaborate with the Finance and Administration team to drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Completed or near‑completion of a Commerce or Business degree.
• Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong analytical ability and a positive, motivated approach to learning.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
