Front Office Manager - Fixed-Term (Maternity Coverage)

About the role

An experienced Front Office Manager is sought for the team at Oaks Brisbane on Felix Suites, a fixed-term contract covering parental leave, effective immediately until mid-June 2027. The role leads a high-performing Front Office team and ensures the smooth operation of the Front Office function. Immediate start is available.

Key responsibilities

• Create a welcoming guest experience and maintain front office and reception operational standards
• Meet guests on arrival and help them settle into their rooms
• Assist guests and make accurate bookings through clear, honest communication
• Support the team in delivering excellent guest service
• Complete daily tasks accurately and on time, and resolve guest complaints professionally
• Maintain accurate guest accounts and assist with daily reporting
• Manage the team roster to meet budgets and support the Hotel Manager with recruitment

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience at supervisor level in a hotel or resort
• People management skills to lead and motivate a diverse team
• Customer service skills, a positive attitude and availability for varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Working rights in Australia or New Zealand

Required skills

• Understanding of trust accounting
• Excellent written and verbal communication
