Full-Time Chef de Partie

About the role

Parklands Social – NY Deli & Grill, a restaurant in Spring Hill, Brisbane, is looking for a passionate, driven full-time Chef de Partie to join its kitchen team. You will take ownership of your section and help deliver quality, consistency and creativity, working alongside the Sous Chef and Head Chef.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present dishes across your section
• Maintain food quality, consistency, portion control and presentation
• Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily operations, menu execution and new ideas
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Manage stock rotation, food storage and preparation to minimise waste
• Work with the wider kitchen and Food & Beverage teams to keep service running smoothly
• Guide junior team members and help build a positive kitchen culture

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a section during busy service
• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene and safe kitchen practices
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills and team-first mindset
• Willingness to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

Required skills

• Certificate III in Cookery
• Portion control and food safety
