Finance Officer

About the role

Nurselink Healthcare Pty Ltd is looking for a part‑time Finance Officer to join its team in Melton, VIC. The role supports the finance function of a growing healthcare provider, ensuring accurate financial records, timely transaction processing and compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Support the finance team with data entry, filing and other administrative tasks.
• Complete payroll processing and employee expense claims.
• Liaise with suppliers, creditors and financial institutions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Required profile

• Certificate III or IV in Accounting, Bookkeeping or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Officer, Accounts Clerk or similar finance role.
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and general‑ledger processes.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• High accuracy and attention to detail when handling financial data.
• Professional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Knowledge of healthcare accounting practices is advantageous.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWC) or willingness to obtain one.
