Enrolled Nurse – Mental Health Inpatient (Goulburn)

About the role

Join the inpatient mental health nursing team at Kenmore Hospital in Goulburn, providing compassionate care to patients experiencing acute mental health crises. As an Enrolled Nurse you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivering person‑centred care and supporting patients to stabilise, recover and transition to the next phase of their treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide person‑centred nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Collaborate with individuals and the multidisciplinary health‑care team to achieve quality, patient‑focused outcomes.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Ability to practice nursing that respects individual and group rights within a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective clinical communication using information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills, and capacity to manage conflict.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and competence enhancement.
• Knowledge of person‑centred nursing approaches and willingness to embrace change.
• Understanding of quality improvement, evidence‑based practice and recent relevant clinical experience.
