Enrolled Nurse – Mental Health Inpatient (Goulburn)

About the role

Join the inpatient mental health nursing team at Kenmore Hospital in Goulburn. As an Enrolled Nurse you will deliver compassionate, person‑centred care to patients experiencing acute mental health crises, supporting their stabilization and recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patients' mental and physical health, documenting observations accurately.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and promote a safe therapeutic environment.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence‑based practice.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Demonstrated ability to work respectfully within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong clinical communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and competence.
• Understanding of person‑centred nursing approaches and willingness to embrace change.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using clinical information technology systems.
