Enrolled Nurse – Mental Health Inpatient (Goulburn)

About the role

Join the inpatient mental health nursing team at Kenmore Hospital in Goulburn. As an Enrolled Nurse you will provide compassionate, person‑centred care to patients experiencing acute mental health crises, supporting their stabilization and recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor patient status, document observations and interventions accurately.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and promote a safe therapeutic environment.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence‑based practice.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Demonstrated ability to respect individual rights within a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective clinical communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and competence.
• Experience with person‑centred nursing approaches and quality improvement.
