Chef de Partie - Kitchen Section Lead

About the role

Novotel Perth Murray Street, part of the Accor Group, is hiring a Chef de Partie on a casual basis. You will run your own kitchen section, keeping quality and consistency high, and support the team across all areas of the kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Executive Chef with daily operations, including prep and service
• Supervise and lead the kitchen when the Executive Chef is absent
• Take ownership of your section so service runs smoothly and efficiently
• Maintain food presentation and portion standards across all outlets
• Monitor stock levels, minimise waste and keep accurate stock rotation
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and safe under WHS and hygiene standards

Required profile

• Proven experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
• Dinner service and Conference & Events (C&E) experience
• 2-3 years leading night-time kitchen teams in events
• Availability to work evenings on a 7-day roster
• Experience supervising junior chefs during service
• Valid Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)
