Banking Consultant – Sutherland Illawarra & Highlands NSW

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will provide customers with a seamless banking experience, addressing their end‑to‑end financial needs and promoting digital solutions. You will work as part of a collaborative branch team, acting as a role model and peer coach while delivering on ANZ’s Customer Promises.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑standard customer service and act as a role model and peer coach.
• Engage customers to increase advocacy and create real value.
• Participate in bank programs and initiatives.
• Know your customer from a risk perspective and ensure compliance with ANZ policies.
• Maintain accurate transaction processing and fulfil product recommendations according to accreditation level.
• Work flexible hours, including rostered Saturday shifts, to support branch operating hours.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus, preferably with retail experience.
• Comfortable using and promoting digital banking channels.
• Ability to conduct needs‑based conversations and recommend appropriate products.
• Willingness to work in a team‑oriented environment.
