Banking Consultant – Retail Banking (Murwillumbah)

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Banking Consultant to join its Retail Banking team in Murwillumbah. You will deliver a seamless branch experience, helping customers meet their end‑to‑end financial needs while promoting digital solutions and building strong advocacy for the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a smooth branch experience, handling transactions and conducting needs‑based conversations.
• Educate customers on digital banking channels and available financial solutions.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to ensure high‑quality service.
• Support bank programs and initiatives that drive customer engagement and advocacy.
• Maintain a thorough “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ policies, branch procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with retail banking experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Effective communication skills for needs‑based conversations.
