About the role
As a Banking Consultant in ANZ's Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless branch experience, helping customers meet their full range of financial needs. You will combine transaction processing with needs‑based conversations and guide clients toward digital solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Provide end‑to‑end banking services, from transactions to advisory conversations.
- Educate customers on digital banking channels and promote their use.
- Act as a role model and peer coach within the branch team.
- Drive customer engagement and advocacy, contributing to branch targets.
- Participate in bank programs and initiatives.
- Maintain a strong “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
- Ensure compliance with ANZ policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- Exceptional customer focus with a retail banking background (advantageous).
- Comfortable using and promoting digital banking technologies.
- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
