Banking Consultant – Retail Banking (Ballarat)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience to customers in the Ballarat branch. You will meet end‑to‑end financial needs, provide advice on products and digital solutions, and act as a role model for excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Drive customer engagement and advocacy by understanding and fulfilling financial needs.
• Support bank programs and initiatives within the branch.
• Maintain a “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Provide high‑quality service, act as a peer coach and promote digital banking channels.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills.
• Retail or banking experience is an advantage.
• Comfortable using technology and digital channels.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work collaboratively.
• Good understanding of compliance requirements.
