About the role

In this dynamic position you will go beyond the numbers, analysing financial data and preparing high‑quality reports that give clients real clarity and confidence in their financial position. Your work will directly support smarter decision‑making, compliance, and long‑term business success while building trusted relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Prepare clear, well‑structured work papers evidencing work performed.
• Review financial statements and management accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Identify and assist in resolving accounting issues.
• Apply basic tax compliance procedures and assist with tax planning activities.
• Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts.
• Complete required regulatory forms accurately and meet lodgment deadlines.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years' experience in a similar accounting role.
• Business or Commerce degree with an Accounting major.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
• Commenced (or intention to commence) CA or equivalent qualification.
