Banking Consultant – Customer Service & Sales (Part‑time)

About the role

Join Suncorp Bank as a S&S Banking Consultant in Browns Plains, where you will combine face‑to‑face interaction with inbound and outbound calls to deliver exceptional everyday banking services. This permanent part‑time position focuses on helping customers open accounts, resolve enquiries, and transition to digital banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate, timely information on everyday banking enquiries and account opening processes via phone and online channels.
• Support and educate customers on using digital banking platforms, encouraging self‑service and digital onboarding.
• Deliver customer‑obsessed service that drives satisfaction, first‑call resolution, and strong Net Promoter Score outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, privacy legislation, FSRA requirements, and underwriting guidelines.
• Contribute to a balanced team culture focused on people, customers, risk, and performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering high‑quality customer experiences in a banking or financial services environment.
• Comfortable using digital customer service platforms and assisting customers with online banking tools.
• Strong listening skills, ability to build trust, and ask the right questions to exceed expectations.
