Banking Consultant – Customer Service & Sales

About the role

The Banking Consultant will deliver outstanding sales and service to customers through face‑to‑face interactions and inbound/outbound calls. You will support everyday banking enquiries, account openings and guide customers in using digital banking tools.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer‑obsessed service, aiming for first‑call resolution and high satisfaction.
• Answer everyday banking enquiries and process account openings via phone or online channels.
• Educate and support customers on digital platforms, encouraging self‑service.
• Assist with digital onboarding to ensure a seamless experience for new clients.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, privacy legislation and underwriting guidelines.

Required profile

• Experience delivering high‑quality customer service in a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to listen, build trust and ask the right questions.
• Ability to balance customer, risk and performance outcomes.
